From a Workbench in Dubai to a Global Jewelry Brand
The story of NAJJAF began in Dubai in 1970, in a quiet corner of the city, long before the towering skyline and glittering lights we see today. My father, a master craftsman, opened a small workshop where he created handcrafted jewellery for a loyal circle of clients who appreciated artistry, detail, and personal connection.
Every piece started as a hand-drawn sketch. From there, he meticulously brought it to life casting, shaping, setting stones, and polishing by hand. It was a one-man operation fueled by passion, precision, and purpose.
As a child, I would rush to his workshop after school, eager to be surrounded by the magic of creation. I loved staying there all day, completely immersed in the quiet rhythm of tools and gold. I began making tiny pieces from scraped gold, just for fun—and even then, I found joy in every step. That little workbench became my world.
It was there I learned that jewellery isn’t just something you wear. It’s something you feel: a story, a memory, a bond.
Over time, the dream grew to take that legacy of craftsmanship and share it with the world. What began as a small family workshop is now NAJJAF, a global jewelry brand rooted in the same values: craftsmanship, meaning, and heart.
